Get comfortable in your chair or on the floor. Clear your mind of all thought by picturing a serene rainbow in your mind. When you are ready, choose a color from the rainbow to pour down light unto to you. Once the color rains down on you, it transports you to the land of wands.

You are walking in a grassy meadow where you see balloons let into the sky. You follow the red and orange balloons to where they are being let free. As you get closer, you hear the sound of laughter and music. You make out the words to a song that people are singing.

There’s a party going on right here
a celebration that'll last throughout the year
shall bring you good times and good laughter too
we gonna celebrate your party with you
come on now
celebration - we're gonna celebrate and have a good time.

You realize this is the song “Celebration” by  Kool and The Gang. You laugh to yourself wondering what this is all about. You see four wands painted in the colors of the rainbow that hold a big banner that says “Party today.”

As you round the bend, you see people dressed in bright colors. There is a banquet of food displayed on two long tables. Do you see anyone you know? Or see some favorite foods of yours?

You feel a tug on your shirt; there you look down to see a kid of ten or eleven. The child smiles at you. Is it a girl or a boy? The child has on blue jeans with a red top. The child beckons you closer.

“You’ve been working a lot. Now, it’s time to have fun, okay?“

“Okay,” you say, smiling now.

“What’s your name?”

“We’ll meet again,” responds the child, who then runs off to join the crowd.

So you decide to join the celebration and let go of your plans, destiny and adventures for one day to just have some fun. When you had enough fun and food, you leave the party relaxed and refreshed back to your world.

Once you are back, please take time to write in your tarot journal your experiences with the Four of Wands.
