World (4 of Swords)
Give yourself a rest this month. Rather than rushing around, take opportunities to relax. There will always be obligations and tasks to complete, but if you’re frazzled, you won’t perform at your best. Stress is probably the number one cause of illness and mental fatigue. If you’ve been dealing with either of these, consider creating new habits to support your wellbeing. Whatever problems you’re facing right now will be solved by looking within. Although the outcome may not always match your expectations, the conflict is quieted by taking time for reflection.

Empress (5 of Wands)
The challenges you face this month will teach you to be more adaptable. Are you feeling like you’re striving, only to feel more immobilized? Do you feel restricted and doubtful? This frustration has a message relating to your creative expression. Ask yourself how what you do reflects who you are. Forget the petty obstacles and focus on more creative solutions. Have pride in your talents the way a mother dotes on her child. Give in to your conflicts by creating harmony with your surroundings – even those annoying coworkers deserve your compassion. As you become more patient, life becomes easier to manage.

Star (8 of Wands)
You will be swept off your feet this month as your heart energy looks for an outlet. For those who have recently braved an emotional storm, calmness is within reach. Be kind to yourself and trust that you have developed new inner resources. With confidence restored, your enthusiasm inspires new energy and brilliant ideas. Get in touch with your deepest desires, then find ways to manifest them. Love is in the air, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Take a risk and express your feelings for that special someone. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Wheel of Fortune (6 of Wands)
Lady Luck turned the wheel and landed on your number! However, this is not a stroke of random luck as much as a personal victory. Something you’ve put in motion has earned you a moment of glory. On a deeper level, this breakthrough will help you change the patterns of your behavior, thereby changing your fate. You’ll reap the most benefits from this change by staying as present as possible in your daily life. Don’t be dismayed by old fears or negative beliefs; there’s no room for blaming now. Be proud – you are the architect of your destiny!

High Priestess (7 of Wands)
It takes courage to face your fears and wisdom to study them. The problem occurs when they seem so nebulous. You know you should do something but you feel paralyzed by doubts, insecurities and vague unknowns. It’s an unsettling feeling when you realize you’ve acted in ways that conflict with your integrity; however, if you’re not in touch with your inner self, you have little access to this discernment. Release the need to be understood by others and learn to understand yourself: your moods, feelings and desires. Cultivating trust in yourself will help you handle the toughest situations.

Chariot (4 of Cups)
Action for the sake of action is not always the best use of your energy. It can sometimes be a way to distract you from your feelings. Although this month is about movement, it must be controlled and deliberate movement. Don’t let apathy be the cause of premature action. Sit with your feelings long enough to hear the message. If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll realize that endeavors undertaken for the sake of ego gratification are shallow, only yielding short-term benefits. The goal of this movement should be Self examination – a rich journey within.

Justice (3 of Pentacles)
Every thought, action and deed has an effect and leaves an imprint. Keeping this golden rule in mind, be conscious of what you expend your energy on. Creating balance is a guiding principle in your life; this month, in particular, your ability to do so will be tested. At work, you may encounter several chances for self-development. Create ways of working in harmony with others, even if you don’t like them. Your actions will be scrutinized if you’re not careful. Finances and job opportunities become more plentiful and require more responsibility. Remember to stay grounded.

Hierophant (Knight of Pentacles)
It’s one thing to know right from wrong, but another to actually walk the talk; theory without practice is shallow. As you apply your own moral code to life, you become an example to others. The importance of personal integrity is for your own benefit because, in reality, you’re the only one who knows your true intentions. Do not be so concerned with what others think; focus on your own actions and make amends when necessary. A slow and dedicated pace will help you through the month. Refrain from overreacting and be patient with those who are less aware.

Death (2 of Wands)
Change and a feeling of restlessness are in the air. Something’s about to happen; what that is depends on the choices you make. The contradiction, however, is that you must harness your personal power while allowing yourself to surrender to the experience. An alliance you thought was beneficial will show signs of dishonesty. Rather than fighting this, let it be. You’ve been limiting your self-expression in order to keep the peace. Sometimes to see yourself as you truly are, you must give up the things you’re attached to. Another opportunity will present itself when you’re free from baggage.

Lovers (Queen of Cups)
The urge to merge is both a biological and spiritual phenomenon. By relating to another you become more aware of yourself. While love is often assigned as the motivating factor, there’s much more to it. Pay attention to what you feel emotionally triggered by – either positive or negative. You’ll notice that you’re more attracted to traits you’re lacking. Relationships are a choice and who you choose to have in your life speaks volumes about you. How you allow someone to treat you also reflects how you feel about yourself. Take stock of the relationships in your life and notice which ones are healthy.

Tower (Page of Cups)
A flash of insight can start a chain reaction when what you believed to be true is not only challenged, but proven to be false. It’s natural to assume that core beliefs are true, especially when there’s a personal history attached. You may be devastated when you find out that a cherished dream is no longer within reach. This shock will likely cause a feeling of disorientation. But rather than emotionally detaching from the experience, trust your Higher Self to handle the situation. Through the vulnerability of this experience, you will gain new levels of trust, both in yourself and others.

Moon (Ace of Cups)
Are you ready to take the plunge? This month promises an ocean of emotion. The dilemma however, is that you won’t be able to see clearly. Either you’re blinded by illusions of fantasy or bewildered by confusing emotions. The goal and paradox is to find balance through this without denying yourself the experience of being caught in the ecstasy. However, it’s important to lose yourself from time to time because it opens your heart to the experience of pure love. You achieve balance by expressing yourself and reflecting as appropriate. Too much dreaminess could lead to delusion.
