I tried for quite a while to come up with a Fool-themed article for April Fool's day, but nothing came to mind. I went through one deck after another, pulling out the Fools, hoping something would inspire me. Two dozen Fools stared back at me, each a different expression of the same Fool archetype. So many Fools, so little time. "I should quit fooling around," I thought, "and put all these Fools back in their decks. Now if I can just remember which is which..."

Seriously, that's when it hit me. I could sponsor a Foolin' Around contest! Below are two dozen Fools from various decks, with their backs on the next page - reshuffled into a different order. Simply match each Fool with its corresponding back, and name each deck.

To enter, type up your list in the body of an email and send it with your name and email address to FoolContest@ata-tarot.com. Entries won't be judged on spelling the deck names, as long as the intent is clear. All entries must be received by 11:59pm Eastern time on Sunday, April 25, 2004. Limit one entry per person. The three entries with the most correct answers will receive the prizes shown at left. In case of ties, the earliest entries received win.

A list of answers and our winners will be announced in our May 1st issue. Good luck!
