Cards and Initial Comments for April

From the Tiny Universal Waite - Temperance

I drink from the source of life
I heal all wounds
with the power of love
I invite my inner angel
to wrap me in her wings
and cure me.

From the Robin Wood Tarot - Queen of Swords

Time to cut through all the fog and sort out the truth.

The card in this deck looks like April. Strong and determined woman with butterflies all over her regal-looking outfit - she stands in the meadow with blue sky, sun peeking over clouds, green grass, birds flying, lots of blues for added color. It is a determined card of perseverance and persistence but also hope.

From the World Spirit Tarot - Emperor

Build your world in beauty and light.

Sum Card

14 + 63 + 4 = 8; 8 + 1 = 9
The Hermit

Poem

Truth has many facets

It depends on where
You are standing
And on the purity
Of your eyes

The road to healing
Does not meet with
Malevolence
Or with
Vengeance

Nor does it
Make friends with
Obsession
Neediness
Guilt

The road to healing is steep
At times obscure
Lonely

Faith to be tested
A thousand times

Hope to be pierced
Only to prove that
It is immortal

Peace wounded
Peace stabbed
By so many voices

The road to healing
Seems without an end

Each uncertain step
Measuring a scarp

Each pain welcomed
Getting you closer
To your inmost darkness

Commentary

Dear friends, we are all wishing you a "clearing" month, one when your past wounds and sorrows will act as a transformative power for you, in order that you will be relievingly healed. Forgiveness is a difficult concept to really grasp. It is not about forgetting, it is not just about releasing past hurts. It is mostly about accepting our own selves, with all our human fears, wants, urges. May a soothing wave of understanding and peace enters our consciousness this month.
