You close your eyes and begin to breathe deeply in and out. Until, you feel a state of calmness flow through you. When you are ready, let us begin.

You are on white sandy beach with the sun reflecting off the beautiful turquoise blue water. In the distance is another island and farther out green mountains. You are dressed simply in a cool silk green shirt and pants. A person in a silver cloak is rowing a boat coming your way. It is a sturdy small boat painted in the color of a midnight sky; and the most unique feature is five silver swords standing up into the boat. The person finally reaches the shore and anchors the boat in the shallow part of the blue waters. You notice upon closer view there is a sword missing from boat because a slit with a silver tag that reads six lays empty.

The person takes off their hood and you see the face of a person you have lost long ago. A friend /loved one who may have died or you lost contact with. The two of you embrace since this is an unexpected pleasure. Your long lost loved one hands you the oar that is actually a crystal ice blue sword. On its hilt engraved is the word six. You grasp the sword feeling a sense of peace.

"What are you doing here?" you ask.

"I was going to ask you the same question " Your friend/loved one pauses for a moment then looks at you straight in the eye. "You must cross the sea and go to the island where the rest of your journey awaits."

"What's beyond there?"

"For everyone it is different."

"Will I see you again?"

Your friend/loved one smiles at you. "Yes, you will. Now, it's time for you to sail."

After one last hug, you take a seat on the boat and your friend helps you with a push. You wave goodbye then begin to direct the boat with ice blue sword that glistens in the sun. As you ride on the sea, you feel the tug of emotions trying to enter your mind. You allow them little access and give yourself the freedom to let your mind be free. As your mind roams, you begin to get images and words answering long ago questions. You allow them to pass by you knowing you can access them later. Right now all you want to do is soak up the sun and inhale the aroma of the sea air.

Time passes and you reach the island in no time. You push the boat unto the sandy beach. You put the sixth sword back in its original spot in the boat. You hear the distant sound of voices. You confidently walk toward the swaying palm trees to see what lies beyond.

When you reach the beginning of the palm trees, you open your eyes back to your world. Take a few moments to take in all that you have seen and felt with the six of swords. Record all of this in your Tarot journal.
