Cards and Initial Comments for May

From the Tiny Universal Waite - Knight of Swords

Swift like the wind
Mighty as the sword
Agile like the eagle
I sweep my past
My present
And my future
Alike

There is no mercy
Where there is
No root
There is no remembrance
Where there is
No affinity

I carry with me
What is the pure me
I leave behind me
What has started turning into
Ashes

From the Transformational Tarot - Ace of Coins

We are learning what true wealth is. Knowledge and understanding of the Great Mystery of all existence is offered to us. We receive true wealth in our Hearts and in our Spirits, in this World and in all Worlds. When we humbly accept with faith the Great Gifts from the hand divine...
We know truth and we live truth when we then open our own hearts, when we then extend our own hands to each other. At the Spiritual Heart of the Great Mystery there is an Eternal Flame. And that Flame is the Light of Love.

From Tarot of the Spirit - The Flood (Four of Water)

You are outgrowing a period of contentment. Things that were once good now seem stale. Things once new have grown old. Change is the only thing that remains stable. Do not be afraid to change and regain your balance.

From the Voyager Tarot - Nine of Cups (Fulfillment)

This is the perfect card for May: a tropical paradise of flowers and water; lilies, roses, waterfalls, pearls - and drinks all around. This is truly the sign of contentment and emotional reward for a good deal of self-work. A message about loving our accomplishments and acknowledging how far we've come.

Sit back, relax, let us be served and decorated and loved, as we deserve to be!

Sum Card

61 + 64 + 39 + 44 = 208 = 10 / 1
The Wheel of Fortune / The Magician

Poem

Truth is hidden
In the humblest
Places

Not harsh
Nor soft
Just naked
As all angels
In Eden

Truth is found
When the mind ceases
The relentless
Pursuit
Of a convenient “because”
And of ways to enforce
Its own justice

Stillness is scary
As if no one will defend
The soul
From the sudden attack
Or as if nothing will stop
The inevitable

And it is in this state
Of a perfect stillness
Where the truth begins to shine

Commentary

Our dear friends, as the summer approaches, the bright sun of the truth has started to shed its light on our secret and dark corners. Blessed be this light, which will show us our own faltering steps, and how they led us to today's consequences. Once the lesson is taken, once the steps are made more secure, once we remember what our essentials are, there will be no doubt, for what the truth is whispering in our ear.

Have a wonderful month, dear friends.
