Feel warmth spread through your body relaxing each and every muscle. When you are ready, close your eyes.

It's a day of blue skies and white clouds that greets you as walk toward a small village. Out of nowhere, a movie theme music blares from the sky. You stop where you are totally unsure of what is going on. The music sounds familiar, so you listen closely. It is the theme song for the Indiana Jones movies.

"Okay, this is really bizarre" you say smiling to yourself. As you walk a bit, you come to a sign in front of the entrance of the village. You read it out loud:

This is the town of seven swords of fate
choose wisely to see your destiny
take what swords you can
but only what you need
not what you desire.

You think about your destiny as you enter the small village. The theme music fades away. The village is dotted with small houses painted in bright pinks and greens. You see small pens for animals. The village appears deserted.

As you make a turn between two houses, there appears a huge slab of gray rock with the seven swords imbedded in it. As you get closer, you notice the swords look as if many hands touched them. Inscribed in each sword's blade is a word. You read them quietly: love, family, beauty, health, fame, wealth, and wisdom. Which one to take? You mind buzzes and you get butterflies in your stomach. Which do you need?

As you begin to reach for the first sword, you hear the sound of many feet coming from the west. Your heart begins to race. There is no time to choose carefully. The villagers are coming. You frantically grab and pull out all seven swords. Then you hear a voice shout, "Hey, you."

You run with your swords beyond the village then stop when your legs give out. You collapse in a grassy field. Taking time to get your breath.

"Why are you running?"

You jump. You see a teenage girl standing in front of you.  She is dressed simply in a white dress with a sword insignia on the front.

"You sword seekers always run. It seems every time we have a village meeting by the water one of you comes," she explains. " We just are curious to see the people who come to our home. And they get scared away and we only catch glimpses of them. I finally have met one of you. Did you take what you need?"

Now, you look at the swords. You had taken all seven but now you only have five. You dimly recall two of them dropping along the way. You take a close look at what swords you have. Are they what you need? Or are the two you dropped the ones you wanted?

Before you can answer. The girl smiles and says. "I'm sure you did. Well, goodbye. See you again." She rushes off excitedly to tell her people about you.

You sit there and look at all the swords you have. Did you make the right choice? What do the swords you possess tell you about yourself? When you are ready, open your eyes to return to your reality. Take sometime to think about and write down your adventure with the seven of swords.
