Greetings, friends! This month we're using the "Celtic Wisdom Tarot" by Caitlin Matthews and Olivia Rayner. It's a colorful set of cards based on Celtic mythology. Suit names are Skill (wands), Art (cups), Battle (swords), and Knowledge (pentacles). Court cards are King, Queen, Warrior, and Woman. Happy beginning of Summer!

ARIES. Ace of Battle. Where can you engage more strongly with life? When you answer this honestly, you can overcome difficulties, particularly those connected with truth and ethics. You're communicating in new ways that are firm, decisive, confident, and honest.

TAURUS. 10 of Battle, Reversed. What is your greatest inner source of help right now? Thank this source of help, because it is assisting you to defer some big challenges. You've gained some footing and some time out from the mental rat race. Enjoy it. Postponing some one-on-one meetings could be a helpful tactic too.

GEMINI. 6 of Knowledge. What needs to be shared? Believe it or not, you have much to offer. Life is being generous with you, so show the same to others. Some form of service to the community around you could pay off in tangible, even material, ways.

CANCER. 4 of Skill. How can you enjoy the fruits of your labors? Simply remember a time when things weren't so peaceful, then be grateful for present moments of bliss. You're creating a more public role for yourself and completing projects on time. Well done!

LEO. 5 of Knowledge, Reversed. In what ways do you forget to trust and respect yourself? Challenges around security and groundedness can be addressed by recalling your strength and power. Also, don't be afraid to receive offers of help, including part-time work. Shaky ground will soon settle down.

VIRGO. III. The Shaper (Empress). What nurturance do you seek? You may find it by offering some of it to another(s). There's more harmony or wholeness in your life through deeper reverence for the earth. Your mother or the concept of mothering may be calling for your attention this month. It can only lead to fruitfulness and fulfillment. Many of you will be receiving tangible rewards for past efforts.

LIBRA. VIII. The Empowerer (Strength). What power lies untapped in you? Unleash it and see just how strong, courageous, and energetic you become! Some of you could be working for worthy causes this month, challenging the status quo in the process. You can demonstrate fortitude by allowing your appetite for life to indulge itself for once. Even small efforts can shift mountains, Libra!

SCORPIO. XI. The Balancer (Justice), Reversed. What keeps you in balance with the universe? Probably your own commitment to your inner truth and your ability to retreat to internal places of peace. Some of you could feel as though injustices or unfair treatment is snapping at your heels. Simply staying in your integrity is the best defense.

SAGITTARIUS. IX. The Counselor (Hermit), Reversed. What seeks to be born in the silence of your own mind and heart? Hear your own soul's voice, as others' advice about what "should" be born could be off. This makes many of you feel isolated or "outside the tribe" -- oh well, conformity costs too much. This is not a good month to act too swiftly or rashly about important data you need to receive.

CAPRICORN. VI. The Lover (Lovers). Where is love in your life? Not just the fuzzy feeling type of love, but rather the "compassion in action" sort of love. You can find it in teamwork, cooperative ventures, and yes, even in romantic intimacy. It's a month for emotional freedom, friendship, and realizing your power of choice. Contracts look good.

AQUARIUS. Ace of Art. How are you being called to receive and grow? Emotional, relational, and creative abundance are yours. You begin to feel happier about life, perhaps seeing this mirrored in a new friend, lover, or acquaintance. The vessel that seemed nigh empty is now brimming with good things. Make yourself conscious of your daily blessings -- they are more plenteous than you thought.

PISCES. 2 of Knowledge, Reversed. What behind-the-scenes strategies or quiet plans need a more playful approach? Being too serious and afraid of failure can only lead to embarrassment and beating yourself up. Be flexible with yourself and affirm your deep skills and talents -- slow but certain positive change will result. As one of my music teachers once said, "If you're afraid to play wrong notes, then your correct notes won't sound so good."

All good things,
James
