Close your eyes. Breathe in and breathe out. Listen for the sound of waves. Follow the rhythm to the center of yourself.

You are in a bright green forest with birds singing in the treetops. You walk a ways to a clear blue stream. You follow it, just enjoying where you are. You look up to see a person coming towards you. When the person comes into view, who is it? Is this a stranger or a friend? How are they dressed? Whoever he/she is, the person greets you warmly with a hug.

“I’ve found you.”

“You have?”

“Come and take my hand. You are my match, my equal.” The person takes out of a blue silver sack, two silver cups with aquamarine stones set around it. “This one is for you. And this is my cup.”

How do you feel about what the person says to you? Regardless, you take the cup offered to you. Is this cup empty or filled with a special drink?

The person smiles and offers their hand to you.

“Come let us walk, my beloved.”

As you walk with this person, you feel your heart opening up. Whatever fears of the heart you have had slip away with your partner.

When you are ready, you say farewell to your beloved. You leave the two cups with this person. Follow the stream back ten spaces and open your eyes back you your reality. Know you can always return at any time. Record and reflect in your journal your encounter with the two of cups.
