Tarot Reflections

Close your eyes, then take a couple of deep breaths. When you are ready, let us begin.

You are alone in a vast desert. All your eyes can see is white sand all around you. You call out and your voice echoes in the air. The sun is high in the sky, beaming down on you.  You look at the clothes you're wearing. You're dressed in a crisp clean white tunic and pants. The smell of freshness surrounds you and on your feet are orange sandals.

You walk for a while, not knowing in what direction. You look up and see a bird flying ahead. In fact, the bird seams to traveling with you. It is a beautiful fiery bird the color of the sun. The bird veers to the left. She looks back at you. So you follow her, and the bird leads you a lush green oasis.

The bird flies on top of a majestic deep rich brown wand of oak. Sprouts of green leaves come from it. The bird summons you over with a flap of her right wing. The bird winks at you then flies away. You grasp the wand.  You feel something jolt through you. What do you feel?  As you stand there, you feel this moment is to change everything.

You hold up the wand to the sky in your less dominant hand.

The words come tumbling out of your mouth: "By Fire’s passion, I will follow my destiny!”

When you’re ready, you put back the wand back in the ground where you found it. When you foot crosses the line from the Oasis, you’ll return back to your reality.
