Using Messages from the Wee Folk
The month of November is upon us. I keep looking back on how fast this year has gone by. I have started winterizing the gardens and it seems like I just planted them. It’s getting dark very, VERY early in the evening, and it’s downright cold. As a matter of fact, Jack Frost paid us a visit last night. I can’t wait for Thanksgiving! I am looking forward to “cooking big!” Then Christmas will be right around the corner.
This month the Fae are inviting you to listen. Listen to yourself and listen deeply; most of the answers you seek are inside you. They are also encouraging you to listen to others. Often, we get so caught up in our own lives and what is going on with us that we don’t really listen to those around us. We may think we are listening, but most of the time we are really coming up with what we are going to say next, instead of actually listening and hearing what other’s are saying. This is especially important if you feel a disagreement coming along. Slow down and try to understand the opinion and feelings of the other person involved. You do not have to agree, however understanding someone else’s opinion and feelings can help expand your own ideas. And listen to the Fae themselves, listen to the rustling of the leaves, listen to the whisper in the wind, listen to the bubbling of a brook.
Another message they would like to share with you, is the message from the squirrel. Just as they are busy gathering and storing food away for winter, the Fae want you to know that it is okay to ask for help as you are busy in your daily life. You do not have to do everything for everyone. Delegate and store up some of your own energy, so you have some in reserve. Be open to receiving help. This is not a sign of weakness, in any way.
The final message for this month is to simplify. Sometimes we get so caught up in everyday life, that we make things much more complicated than they really need to be. Look for areas in your life where you can make things easier instead of more difficult. Take some time to enjoy the simple things that are in your life. Express gratitude for those things and expect more of the same.
A nice stone to carry this month is the Snowflake Obsidian. This black stone with white patches, like snowflakes, is a visually stunning stone, but also contains several healing properties. This stone helps bring balance, to mind, body and spirit during change and transformation. It can also aid in manifesting, practicality and psychic ability. It is a very calming and soothing stone. It can help you learn to value mistakes as well as success. It can also help improve circulation, alleviates muscular aches and spasms. It can also help joint pain and hardening of the arteries.
As always, I hope you find that this message, from the Fae helps guide you through the ups and downs of this month! Remember, to say a special little thank you, to our Fae Friends, for the guidance, insight and entertainment!
See you again, next month and keep the faith!
