Summer is giving way to fall. The mornings and evenings are bringing in that cool and damp marine air. The leaves are turning bright yellow, brilliant orange and deep red and they are starting to float gently to the ground. Autumn Equinox is just days away. This is my favorite time of year by far.
As the month begins, the Fae offer up a gentle reminder to check your attitude. This applies especially when dealing with others. Sometimes, we can be a little harsher with those around us then we really want or mean to be. Remember, everyone is fighting some sort of battle, even those that hide it well. Early in the month, they also say that they want you to break down the wall you have built up around you.
Open yourself up to the possibilities around you. If you have an opportunity to take a class of some sort, now is a good time. Get out and meet new people and try new things. This month should not be a “go with the flow,” month. They are showing me the image of “The Fool.” It’s time to take the leap.
The best time of the month to do energetic work will be during the week of the New Moon (September 8). The entire month will be excellent for divination, so take advantage of this time. If you’ve yet to read face to face or for a stranger, now is the time to get out there and give it a try. This month might also prove excellent for adding a new tool to your toolbox. Try a pendulum or something you’ve never tried before, maybe it‘s time to study some sort of healing modality. You might find that you really enjoy it.
Autumn Equinox falls on September 23 and is one of those ‘tween times, when you have an excellent chance of sighting a Fae. Pay attention to your senses, what you hear, what you see (especially out of the corner of your eye). Other signs would be feeling that something is touching your hair when there is no explanation, you might see a dust devil or a whirlwind of leaves. If you experience something like this, quiet your mind, then ask for a message. Then pay attention to what comes next.
Towards the end of the month, focus should revolve around your home. It’s time to wash and wax those wooden floors, it’s also a good time to wash your windows inside and out. Try a solution of vinegar and water for a safe and green window cleaner. Just don’t try to do too much at once. …and remember, you can delegate. Many hands make for a light load.
A nice stone to carry this month is the Clear Quartz Crystal.
Clear Quartz contains the full spectrum of visible light. It is considered the master healer for the mind and the higher crown chakras. This stone can bring harmony to your entire body, mind and spirit. It is programmable as well, so if you would like to use your Clear Quartz for something specific, simply hold it in your hand and set the intention. It can also be used to harmonize an area and remove negativity.
